Hello!

I am an Australian artist, living and working on Gubbi Gubbi Country, Sunshine Coast, QLD.

I work across a multitude of mediums; including oil painting, textile design, sewing and pottery. Keeping a sustainable practice is a very important aspect of my work; the mediums and materials I use, as well as the amount of waste produced, and the management of said waste, is just as important for me, as the finished work itself. I am deeply interested in the capacity for arts and creative practices to build and strengthen community, foster education and bring about change.

I enjoy playing in the balance between abstraction and representation in my work, taking heavy inspiration from the nostalgia of childhood and that sense of youthful adventure one experiences, when exploring the world for the first time. I aspire to reignite that same sense of wonder for the world we experience when young in my artwork.

I pay my respects to elders past and present, on whose land I live and work. This was and always will be Aboriginal land. Sovereignty was never ceded.
