Hello!
I am an Australian artist, living and working in Broken Hill on Wilyakali land.
I am a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on landscape painting, textile design and pottery. In all areas of my practice I try to maintain a high level of sustainability, researching eco-friendly alternative mediums and materials to work with. I often draw from my own experienced landscape as my primary inspiration, working from life or photos taken on walks through the bush. I am interested in blurring the boundaries between what is ‘human’ and what is ‘nature’, looking at how we influence our lived environment and how it influences us.
I pay my respects to the wilyakali elders past and present, on whose land I now work and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
