The thickest, most overwhelming and dense smoke during the summer of 2020. The kind that lingers for days and leaves the sky stained red. Invading your environment, so that only what is immediately ahead of you is visible. I wanted to capture something of that power, sense of overwhelm and disorientation in this work.
